If I understand corretly, your company doesn't own Documentum ? I guess if you're developing this for a customer, you could ask the customer to get the doc. Obviously, that would also means that officially, you would only be legaly allowed to use his docs on site otherwise, that could become piracy (same goes for the…

Mike, You're the man. I actually didn't delete the file but just removed all references to WDK in it and now I can install again Thanx a lot
-
Ok people, I mark this one as answered even though it isn't since the problem is gone as I upgraded. Thanx for trying anyways
-
Nick, PK4D Been there, done that All, Forget it. I upgraded. No more problems
-
Alan, Will do (both spelling and starting a new discussion)
-
What about on the EMC support site at I'm sure somebody in your company has some login info for it
-
Why would you want to install such an old version of the conetnt server. Can't you upgrade ? Check in the release notes if this version of Oracle is supported and if not, you cna still use it but you'll need ot install the ORacle client for the version supported.

My Bad, I misread the question about other tools so I was just indeed listing other tools I found very good with Documentum. Nothing related to the DFC Groovy stuff in my reply PS: I'll have to use the spell checker too to avoid all those typo's
-
Been there done that, even uninstalled Tomcat and reinstall it. No go. Tough, I'll leave without WDK on this machine (at least until I can upgrade it which won;t be long)
-
Actually, since I just posted my 1st question with the new interface, I found out that when creating the discussion, you can mark it as being a question. If you do so, I guess that when you get replies, you can mark them as correct/util, etc... We'll see when I get answers (or should I say IF I get answers)
-
To be honest, I have no idea, I usually answer questions and I didn't ask any since the new EDN interface I guess there is somwhere something to mark it a good but wouldn;t know where
-
yes you're right about the r_object_id and i_chronicle_id Re getting the ID's in the folder, I'm not sure I get it. In your relation objects, is the folder ID the Parent or the child ? If it's the parent, then for the child ID's, are they the real r_object_id or the i_chonicle_id of the children here are a couple of DQL…
-
yes you are
-
No problems. Just don;t forget to mark it as a good response if you're happy with it to get my points up
-
1st you need to get the chronicle ID of the document. this is a unique ID that spans all versions of the document and then you can use a query such as: select r_object_id from ALL where i_chronicle_id='[The cronicle ID to search for]'
-
dm_relation objects are not 'documents' per se, they are not subtypes of dm_sysobject and therefore cannot be linked to a folder.

Repoint is N# 1 for me. Keep the good job Aashish I'd be EMC Documentum Development managment, I'd get rid of Webtop and make of Repoint a full blown client Also, I like the Eclipse plugin for WDK development (and help). Too bad, they don't work yet for D6 but hopefully that will come
-
I don't think you're going to get an answer in this community, you should post your question in the Documentum community instead. This one is dedicated to Open Source apps/components that some people are cool enough to share with the rest of the EMC users.
-
I guess you're also new to this site This is not the place for this kind of questions, this section is dedicated to Open Source stuff that we can all use If you want to get an answer, you should ask you Documentum specific questions in the Documentum section of this site
-
I think it is because when calling from Webtop directly, and selecting the object type, then it refreshes the other elements in the display which in turn display what is needed. I guess you will have to somehow find a way to emulate that from your application
-
What application are we talking about, DTC, Webtop, Webpublisher....... ? Also, which part ? Properties, New Document, Import ???????
-
I guess it has been saved in the preferences (cookie) the 1st time the user launched Webtop. Try removing the cookies on a machine and go to Webtop again to see . Obviously, the bad news is that ALL user preferences will be gone

Isn't it somewhere in the Distiller Job Configuration ?
