  • We're running 5.0.1. There is a way to use Webdesk for 'author' type activities while logged in as something higher. Try this: Sign on to TeamSite at whatever level you want (E/A/M). Open another browser window (you may close your TS window, but don't logoff) go to: http://server/iw/webdesk/task (replace server with your…
  • Chris_24, Try this. I don't actually use this, I just modified a piece of code we use that's close. There may be an issue with typecasting of variables, I'm no where near an expert in this. I would be interested to know if it works. Dan Bowker <iw_iterate var="whatever" list="dcr.Field name" iteration="counter"> <iw_if…
  • We've been using TS w/OD for about 10 months. We do just what you describe, only deploy changes since the last edition. To help ensure that files aren't staged between the deploy and edition, we create the editions very early in the work day (we have one admin who comes in hours before everyone else). In the 10 months,…

  • After the upgrade we couldn't login. There was a file (and unfortunately I don't remember the name of it!) that needed to be renamed. The installation assumed something that was incorrect and we needed to delete some file, and rename another one in it's place. It prevented us from being able to sign on.
  • Ram, We did just what you did. Gaining access to the "Y:" drive was the easy part. Everything was as it was before the upgrade. However; we had issues with trying to login afterwards. Look through the knowledge base about logging in after the upgrade. I also strongly suggest applying SP1. There are some very annoying…
  • We were approached by a consulting firm which claimed to have a product to interface between Notes and Workflow/Templating. The company is Centrifusion (http://www.centrifusion.com/) I have nothing to do with them, we did not look at their product(s), I can't vouch for the company in any way. But I thought it might help.…
  • I'm assuming you need to have this field used to uniquely identify the record in your database to be used as part of a unique key/index. Can you have the database automatically fill in the number? Access calls them AutoNumbers, Sybase calls them Idents (I think). That would help with the uniqueness in the database. If you…
