EPS server Log file says "ProcessService not yet available, retry.."

Hi,

Firts of all, EPS is running, the inbox is shown and alle process services do respond. The problem below has IMHO nothing to do with EPS service not running.

Since w few weeks we have a few workitems that remain in the Send On status no matter what we do (e.g. activating and routing the workitem). It is not clear to us what causus this. The log files fills up with messages like:

2015-03-01 16:10:43,760 INFO  WorkManager(2)-50 [com.opentext.ecm.bpm.common.management.impl.SimpleServiceState] ProcessService not yet available, retry ...

This happens after a log message like:

2015-03-01 16:08:34,613 ERROR WorkManager(2)-44 [org.jboss.aspects.tx.TxPolicy] javax.ejb.EJBTransactionRolledbackException: Unspecified BpmRuntimeException.
2015-03-01 16:08:34,614 ERROR WorkManager(2)-44 [org.jboss.resource.adapter.jms.inflow.JmsServerSession] Unexpected error delivering message delegator->JBossMessage[23350835905429518]:PERSISTENT, deliveryId=7 javax.ejb.EJBTransactionRolledbackException: Unspecified BpmRuntimeException. at org.jboss.ejb3.tx.Ejb3TxPolicy.handleInCallerTx(Ejb3TxPolicy.java:115)

Also we see a flood of log messages like the following occurring:

2015-03-01 02:11:02,242 WARN  SimpleThreadPoolWorker-3 [ixos.sec.web.JSOAPClient] doSoapCall: retrying call after exception: (JSEC:03091) Error in Soap Call: java.net.UnknownHostException: OWWNLMS288.ocw.local

The host OWWNLMS288.ocw.local is where the EPS server is running.

I have attached (part of)  the server.log in case there is something that might help find the cause.

This happes on the production system of the client and since it is causing production delays I would like to get it solved as quickly as possible. We have been in production for over 2 years and never had this issue before.

Best regards,

Marc
