are EAs stored in a database? possible to query?

topic says it all...are TeamSite EAs stored in a database somewhere? i checked through our oracle table structure and didnt see them.

is there anyway to query on them? i.e. we have an EA of "expiration date" and i need to generate a filelist of all expired content somehow.
