We are pleased to announce the general availability of TeamSite 6.1, the latest release of our next generation Content Management platform. TeamSite 6.1 builds on the industry-leading TeamSite 6.0 platform released back in September 2003 by solidifying the release with bug fixes and usability enhancements. TeamSite 6.1 also features support for new platforms including:
- Server support for Windows 2000, SP4, Windows 2003 Server, Enterprise Edition, and Solaris 9
- Application Server support for BEA WebLogic 8.1 SP2 and IBM WebSphere 5.1
- End User Client Support for Mac OS 10.2 and Solaris 9 as well as the Sun JVM 1.4.
TeamSite 6.1 is fully localized into Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese and German and available for download on the Interwoven Support Site. Corresponding with this release of TeamSite is the ContentServices SDK 2.1 and 1.1.2 and TeamSite Front-Office 5.6.2.
Upgrade ConsiderationsTeamSite 6.1 provides support for direct upgrade from the following TeamSite versions:
- TeamSite 5.0.2 SP 1--> TeamSite 6.1
- TeamSite 5.5.2 SP 4--> TeamSite 6.1
- TeamSite 5.5.2 SP 5--> TeamSite 6.1
- TeamSite 6.0 --> TeamSite 6.1
- TeamSite 6.0L --> TeamSite 6.1
