I was looking for the documentation for TS6 on how to set the session timeout so that it never times out. So I look in the Admin Guide, pg 34, where it shows that I can:
Set the login authentication expiration* is listed as an iw.cfg modification, but it has that peky asterisk beside it. So up at the top of the page, the asterisk means:
This item only applies to WebDesk Pro and this configuration is now defined in the UI Customization Guide.Cool.
So I look this up in the UI Customization Guide, and lo and behold on pg 89, it has a section for
Setting Login Authentication Expiration that says:
This is a TeamSIte server configuration and is still available in TeamSite 6.0 (specified in iw.cfg as before).Hmmm. So which is it? Do I just change iw.cfg or is it an XML change somewhere? I'm getting dizzy going from ducument to document.
