"Bookmarking" in TeamSite 6.x

One of my biggest complaints about WebDeskPro is that I can't bookmark an area - I have to navigate through these ridiculously long paths (especially where templatedata is concerned, even worse when DCRs are in a folder structure matching output file directory structure). The result is that I usually keep several browsers open to the different areas and alt-tab between them, but even this is a hassle. I know Webdesk had some kind of bookmarking functionality but frankly Webdesk never worked for me or many of my users. Does 6.x have bookmarks that can take me to individual areas and subfolders? Are there CCI links that can take users to specific areas and folders?
