Could someone PLEASE tell me where to look/check for DD related connectivity errors (after configuring the event server)
before we configured the event server, we always checked the iwsyncdb.log for strings similar to this:
ERROR: connect: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
however, since the event server config that file no longer gets updated. the iw techs told me this:

The iwsyncdb.log information is folded into iwddd.log. For Event Server related logs, you can look at <iw-home>/local/logs/eventsubd[_err,_out].log .
this information is definitely not folded into iwddd.log and we have never generated one of the event server error logs.
we had a period of over 4 hours yesterday where users were attemping to save data to the database and it wasnt working. (no updates to the iwddd.log)
we had to reboot our box to get everything working again.
