DCT + database change returns warnings? help!

Hello all,

i am required to add a new item to my DCT which will be deployed to a database using DAS. i dont want to recreate all the tables and i was told by other posts we could manually add columns and update the config files.

here is what i did:

1. added new item to datacapture.cfg
2. added the entry to dbschema.cfg
3. ran ddgen.ipl to generate a new *_DD file with the new column
4. manually altered my IW table to add the new column.

this seems to work as when i save my DCR the new column gets updated in the DB with the correct values. however, i am seeing some troublesome warnings in iwddd.log

WARNING:Value for [other_home_page] exceeds column width [ 4 > -1]
Column OTHER_HOME_PAGE not found in array
Column: other_home_page, field: other_home_page, Index: 13,Converting '......<Value Too large to be written to log file>.....' to LONGVARCHAR

blah blah

### IWDataDeploy DONE ###

as u can see it does not fail...why am i getting thsoe warnings if the entry is being populated correctly? did i miss something in my steps? thanks in advance
