Upgrading to TS 6.0 from TS 5.5.2 SP4

in the compatibility chart for TS 6.0 there is a note at the end:

We will support upgrades from TeamSite 5.5.2 SP3 to TeamSite 6 Only. Customers on 5.0.x must first upgrade to TS 5.5.2 SP3, then upgrade to TeamSite 6. If the customer is on TeamSite 5.5.2, pre SP3, they must first upgrade to SP3, then to TeamSite 6. Upgrading from TeamSite 5.5.2 SP4 is not supported in the initial release.

We were planning on:

5.5.2 SP4 on one machine. (Win 2000 Server)
TS 6.0 on a different machine (Win 2003 Server)
Copy the Backing store from the 5.5.2 machine to 6.0 machine.

Will that work? Or does SP4 change the Backing Store such that it can't be used in 6.0?
