multithreading in FormAPI

Hi,
We are thinking of having a dialog box show up saying "Saving to Database...", while a DCR is getting saved to Database. This should be a model dialog box, so that while the DCR is getting saved, the user is not able to click on any of the other buttons coming in the UI (like Save, Preview, etc)

As per our understanding javascript can be used to show popup dialog boxes when various buttons are pressed in the DCT. However this is not multithreaded and hence the dialog box will have to be closed for the "save to DB" process to continue.

Is there some other approach in Interwoven to show modal dialog boxes and in addition continue a process?
