I have tried every way I can think of to use one deployment config to represent a deployment that can either be used as a filelist deployment or a directory comparison deployment by using substitution variables in the config file. Using the syntax:
<sourceFilesystem area="$srcarea^" filelist="$filelst^" >
I have tried using various combinations of values for the iwodstart CLT to replace
$filelst^ in order to indicate that there is no filelist. I've tried setting the substitution variable to "undef" to "" and to '' to no avail. The result is that the deployment fails because it can't find the filelist. Why can't this syntax be used to create a non-filelist deployment? Has anyone accomplished this another way?
