Documentum APIs: A Guide to Using Enterprise Content Services
(Feel free to suggest other topics)
Flexible Suite of APIs
Documentum provides developers with a great deal of flexibility by supporting a suite of APIs. At a high level we can group these APIs into 5 major categories:
- Enterprise Content Services
- Distributed Content
- Data Access
- Protocols
- XML
Starting with Enterprise Content Services, we can break the APIs categories down further into elements such as Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) or Documentum Web Services (DFS) or Java Services, including DCF and BOF. And that is not all, we have just introduced an Early Access Program for our Documentum RESTful Services
Roll-Your-Own Webinar
These capabilities make Documentum a very powerful platform on which to build content enabled applications -- but how do you best leverage these assets?
In this discussion I would like to focus on Documentum Enterprise Content Services and open the floor to your questions in this area. The concept is that we, at EMC, will gather your input then pull together a custom webinar to respond to your specific questions about Enterprise Content Services. This is your opportunity to provide input into a presentation that answers your most burning questions regarding Enterprise Content Services.
