While BIRT Designer provides a number of functions for most common needs, often times there is a need for custom function to address the business needs. The following example implements a custom Optimistic Sum Aggregation Function as a plug-in. The attachment includes the BIRT design, plug-in project and the compiled plug-in library file. To run the report in your local environment, copy the attached plug-in library file to your “eclipseplugins†folder.<br />
