<p>I use BIRT Version: Luna Release (4.4.0).</p>
<p>Currently everything with Data sources was OK (Win Server 2003+SQL Server 2005+Apache Tomcat 6.0.41 Server), until I switched to Win Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012 and Apache Tomcat 8.5.6 Server.</p>
<p>I am not able to connect from my local BIRT installation for development to the new server.</p>
<p>What is done so far:<br>
1 SQL Browser service is running.</p>
<p>2. SQL Server and Browser are added in Firewall.</p>
<p>3. The user, which I am using has all required rights to the DB and is using SQL Server Authentication.</p>
<p>4. <strong><span style="font-family:calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:11pt;">sqljdbc4.jar </span></span></strong>driver is installed and sys variable is pointing to it.</p>
