Text width/wrapping in viewer and pdf output
Migrateduser

Hello,

I'm currently trying to produce the same visual output between the web viewer and pdf output.

I basically have a grid with three columns; left margin, middle content, and right margin. The margins are 19.5mm each, and the content column is 171mm. These values are supposed to mimic the format of an A4.

+
+
+
+

|margin|content|margin|

+
+
+
+

If I export my web viewer to pdf (burger menu > export content > format: pdf > ok), the line wrapping differs from the wrapping in web viewer.

Is there any way I can make sure that these wrappings are always identical? Even in cases where I might change the font type, size etc.?

I use:

Actuate BIRT Designer Professional
Version: 4.4.0
Build id: v20150710

I have attached an example of my challenge. In this particular example, the word "Fugiat" on line 4 (web) is moved to line 5 in pdf output (at least in my case).

I have:

- Removed margins for the master page

- Removed cell padding for the cell holding the text

Thanks,

Niels
