<p>I suddenly had a problem where I could not publish .data files to our server anymore.</p>
<p>When I generate the .data file from a .datadesign file and tried to publish it the .data file was not visible in the selection screen where you choose the files you want to publish. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>So I tried reinstalling the Birt Designer Pro but I got a different version compared the one I had. The old one had the blue BIRT logo and the new one has the OpenText blue Circle with the little orange pie chart in it.</p>

<p>No problem so far but in the installation details say it is using BIRT 4.6.0 and we are working on a iHub 3.1 (not 3.1.1) server. I tried publishing some reports to a test server and they seem to work oké. But is this supported/advised?</p>

<p>My problem with the .data files remains the same. I still cannot publish them to our servers so I have to manually upload them through the browser. Not a big problem but any tips on how to solve that are appreciated. </p>
