BIRT Developer (4.2.2) Hangs on Preview

<p>Hello out there - i have been using the BIRT Developer 4.2.2 for a while on my corporate laptop.  All of a sudden, preview functions (tab and view as PDF) both hang when trying to present the selection criteria view.  I am wondering if possibly a corporate update might have blocked a port which the developer needs?..just a thought.  This is Win7-x64.  Any help would be appreciated. -- len</p>
