Designing Analytics Reports
Tracking a Record Over Time.
Migrateduser

Hi, my report has to track downtime for equipment over weeks. The downtime vs operating hrs is done per week. It has a reported date and a finished date, representing the duration of the downtime. Like in week one, it went down and was repaired only until mid of week two.

Then, I have to show the downtime that happened within week one and week two respectively.

For example, kinda like

Equipment | Week | Downtime in Hrs | Total Operating Hrs | Operational Period (%)

Top-up Machine 1 7 56 87.5

2 14 56 75.0

How do I properly track the amount of time it was down during both respective weeks? For every week, the report sums up the total amount of time the equipment was down and calculates the % of the time that it was up and running. This would also include any other downtime that would occur after this downtime in the particular week.

Thanks.
