Change column header in report

Hi,<br><br>
I have a BIRT report that I am customizing with a script in the beforeFactory. In this report I want to modify a column header to be the value of a cell in an adjacent column. <br><br>
For example, take this example table.<br><br>
Column1----Column2----Column3<br>
April 4----Indiana----State<br><br>
I want to to make "State" replace Columnn2 heading.<br><br>
Can that be done in beforeFactory?<br><br>
