TaskAddFile gets triggered multiple times for the

System

Hi,

I have a trigger file that captures TaskAddFile event and dumps data received into a database for later query purpose. The goal is create a database where users can search files attached to workflow jobs. The problem I am facing is that the TaskAddFile event gets triggered multiple times (I have seen anywhere from 3 to 5 times.) for each file added to a workflow task. Below is the command I use:

"$iwhome/bin/iwat TaskAddFile \"$iwhome/iw-perl/bin/iwperl.exe $iwhome/local/bin/wf_task_file_add_remove_trigger.ipl\"";

This command is executed from a Perl script. The same script also registers other events (WorkflowActivate, WorkflowInactivate).

Any help on this issue is appreciated.
