Hi ,

I am using BIRT 3.7.

I had previously posted in the forum asking if it was possible to avoid making calls to a dataset attached to a table (i.e not to execute the query associated with the element), without dropping the table.

I did not get favourable replies to the same .

However , after googling a bit i found this thread in bugzilla

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=373415

However , the mentioned approach of nesting tables(and using the visibility conditions of the table) to not execute query associated with the inner table is somehow not working for me . Have anyone of you here tried a similar approach and got the result (of not executing the query associated with the inner table) ?

Also , I would like to know what is the latest event where I can drop a table ? Is it the beforefactory method of the report ?
