Executing iwfsck using Perl script

Hi,

I am trying to create a simple perl script that executes iwfsck command. I tried:

my $retVal = 'd:\\iw-home\\private\\bin\\iwfsck.exe -d';

It does not execute the command. Any suggestion on how to make it work?
