I am planning to install VTB in already working TeamSite environment,
5.5.2 with SP3 on solaris-8 with templating 5.5.2 with SP3
- Can some body tell me their experience about using VTB tool for coding DCT & TPL
(more intersted in -ve points
.. ) as I can take care of them in advance.
- is it 100% client side installation?
- Do u need samba running on solaris system in order to get TS file system & to map then with Dreamweaver/VTB ? where can i find the installation details ?
- is this a tool for TeamSite templating developers only or can it be used by "non tech" users to write DCT & TPL code? if yes, what is the minimum level of tech knowledge required for them ?
- what r its limitations ? specifically while writting tpl's
