Display groups horizontal

I have a dataset that contains the following data.


Plan_Code Plan_Name Amount Start_Date
AAA PLAN_A 2.20 1/1/2012
AAA PLAN_A 4.15 2/1/2012
AAA PLAN_A 6.80 3/1/2012
BBB PLAN_B 8.90 1/1/2012
BBB PLAN_B 7.60 2/1/2012
BBB PLAN_B 4.15 3/1/2012
CCC PLAN_C 6.19 1/1/2012
CCC PLAN_C 5.14 2/1/2012
CCC PLAN_C 6.28 3/1/2012
DDD PLAN_D 7.20 1/1/2012
DDD PLAN_D 6.65 2/1/2012
DDD PLAN_D 7.77 3/1/2012

I would like to display it in the following format:

Plan_Code Plan_Name 1/1/2012 2/1/2012 3/1/2012
AAA PLAN_A 2.20 4.15 6.80
BBB PLAN_B 8.90 7.60 4.15
CCC PLAN_C 6.19 5.14 6.28
DDD PLAN_D 7.20 6.65 7.77
Totals: 24.49 23.54 25.00

The Start_Date is a string field and there can be as many as 6 different dates.
There can be as many as 15 different Plan_Codes.

If I group by Start_Date, how do I get the groups to display accross the page ??
