On-Change Event with DCT

System

As anyone else had this happen in a DCT:

It appears that when I open or create a new DCR then save it - and click a button to virtualize which I've created then close out the form - since that button is on the DCT - Interwoven's behind the scences compiled code - takes that as a change and the user is prompted to save the DCR even though in theory a content change wasn't made. Thus I noticed the same behavior when I opened up
a DCR and clicked another button I have on that DCT - even though I didn't make any changes it was
merely an event change on that DCT form so I was prompted to save.

Possibly the only solution to remedy this problem is with the form api we'd have some under-lying if/else logic when it involves a button?
