DataDeploy CLOB problem ?

THere is a technote 1823 that talks about DataDeploy having troouble with large CLOB deployments. This was with DD 4.5.1 so I am wondering is this is still an issue.

Can anyone tell me if this is an issue with DD 5.5.1 ?
