Manage weblogic config file and applications

We have been using teamsite to manage our weblogic applications and I wonder if we can also use it to manage config.xml file. We have many weblogic instance running and we want to take advantage of teamsite workflow and opendeploy to build a better deployment process.

Has anybody have similar experience with this approach.
