Different font encoding for Times Roman

I'd like to set different encoding for Times Roman font type in birt.
I found a fontsConfig.xml in plugin directory, which contains this settings, but
the best solution would be for me, if I can do from Java or any other way in the
runtime of birt report.

Any suggestions, ideas would be appreciated.
