Global File String Replacement for files in Teamsite

Hi,

My company needs to replace certain string in large number of files in Teamsite. What will be the best solution to do it? I can think of the following two possible solutions:
1. Map a drive to iwserver, do global replace, touch all of them, and resubmit them to staging again.
2. Using Teamsite FrontOffice. (I don't really know this product, so I am just guessing.)

Any help is appreciated.
