Slider gauge and line chart interactivity

Hi

We need to plot a graph which is combination of a slider and a line chart.
Line chart shows sales over the period of time.
slider guage shows time frame ex. year 2000 to year 2008

if user scrolls the slider, line chart should get updated accordingly.

ex. if user scrolls to year 2005, line chart should dispaly sales from year 2000 to yr 2005.

We are using Actuate BIRT 2.3.2
