setting ip of database server

we have changed our server ip and i need to change where birt is pointing tocan someone tell me where i need to go to set this new ip?guy who did this before is no longer with the companyso now its up to methanks

There are a number of places this could be. The most common approach used is to define the connection information directly in the .rptdesign file. I would start by opening the report design in the BIRT designer and checking the data source of the report to see if it is defined there. If the connection is being defined in a connection store or a connection pool, you should be able to tell this in the design.
