DCT New Data Field Limitation in 7.5.0.4 - Unable to Save DCR

We have discovered a data field limitation in 7.5.0.4 that does not exist in 7.5.0.1 that is preventing us from being able to save DCRs and is suddenly a showstopper for us from upgrading in Production. Luckily we tripped on this issue in QA as we were scheduled to upgrade in Prod this Friday. One of our more significant DCRs for our sales, which has a textarea for a large amount of flight sale data entered by our users that is then processed into XML that is stored in another textarea in a hidden field upon Save for use in the PTs - is breaking now in 7.5.0.4. The exact same data that works fine in 7.,5.0.1 is unable to Save in 7.5.0.4. We determined there is an apparent size limitation on these textareas that wasn't affecting the textareas in 7.5.0.1. We created a simple DCT with just 2 textareas and loaded the data into the textareas in both our 7.5.0.1 server and it worked perfectly. Just sat there spinning forever when attempting to Save in 7.5.0.4. Opened a support case, but this will postpone our upgrade because we can't figure out a workaround for this issue in 3 days. This DCR is used every week by our users. I'm really annoyed because there was no good reason for this to have changed.
