Recently, While getting the list of all editions for a branch using the CLT: IWLIST, I saw Hidden Editions (#...) being returned in addition to the Published Editions.
Also, the Teamsite CC Pro shows only Published Editions in its User Interface.
I searched through Teamsite Docs to locate any info on Hidden Editions but, couldn't find any.
Can you please help me understand why a Hidden Edition is there at all ? What is its use and any scenario where I may ever need to check the Hidden Editions ? Do these Hidden Editions also contain any files/directories ?
Also, any pointers to the doc file where I can read more details on Hidden Editions will be appreciated.
