I have not found a direct answer to these questions, so please forgive me if they are covered somewhere.
1. What information does the SQL database store about the assets? Or in general?
2. Where does metadata information live for each asset? Is it encoded into the asset itself?
3. If we export the assets, does the metadata info go along with each asset?
4. Is there a way to export all assets of a certain type, for a specific timeframe? Lets say I wanted to export all *.jpg files that were imported only in 2014.
If there are online resources that answer these questions, please feel free to simply point me to them.
