DB Failover for LSCS

Has anyone set up LSCS for a failover DB ? We have 732 on Linux working with MySQL, want to try something like this:

jdbcUrl=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306,backupdb.something.com:3306/dbname

LSCS will not start up is server 1 is down, it will reconnect when it comes back.

Any ideas ?
