We have faced similar issue of handling Large LSCS query and the LSCS throwing the 414 exception in the lscs.log. Then by increasing the default limit from 1000 to 10000 we actually overcome this issue.
However my project customer is concerned about increase the maxUrilength from 1000 to 10000 without any analyses or advice. Is there is any best practice to keep the limit as 1000 maxurilength=1000, or can we increase the value as much as we want. Will it affect anywhere in the performance of the LSCS hits.
Please provide any suggestion to find the optimal value for the maxUriLength.
