5.5.2 SP3 - Solaris
We have come across a scenario where a user will
Select All in a workarea (selecting an entire site) and execute their workflow. One step in the workflow is an
updatetask that simply moves the selected files to another workarea. Just lately, on at least 3 occasions, that updatetask results in a never-ending
Resolve Conflict state - no matter what we do, we cannot get this updatetask to continue on. Of course, the
Resolve Conflict window is so useless - the comment area that I believe is supposed to tell me what it thinks the conflict is shows this comment
Unspecified error found during update.. Awesome error message - that's so helpful. It also shows no conflicts with STAGING, which is also helpful because I am doing an updatetask between 2 workareas. And then it lists a bunch of files that it has found to be unchanged. It doesn't matter if I select all the files and the overwrite checkbox and then attempt to continue the update - it just doesn't ever get past this conflict.
Anyone else ever run into an updatetask conflict that could never be reolved?
