Segmentation issue - patch available

Sometimes I wonder how many organizations use some features of TS/LS. This time it's Segmentation.

We setup a new segment for a redesign of the site's IA. We are moving stuff around, adding whole new sections and removing some others. For testing we created a new Segment that our testers can trigger by going to a specific page. If that page is the first page they visit in a session they get the new IA. Works great.

Here's the challenge - if you add a new alias to a page in the non-primary segment you will receive an error from LiveSite that the page does not exist. After some very detailed testing I opened a ticket and gave them "the smoking gun" on what the issue was. They confirmed that it was a bug - IS NO ONE ELSE USING THIS? They created a patch that I hope to test out this week.
