Need urgent advice. We are currently doing the upgrade of our old legacy Teamsite systems to new environments. Need suggestion on intermediate in-place upgrade paths and compatible versions.
Current version:
Teamsite : 6.5 SP3
OpenDeploy: 6.1.0
Livesite: 2.2.1
New version:
Teamsite : 7.2.1
OpenDeploy: 7.2.1
Livesite: 7.2.1
We are currently following the below mentioned upgrade path.
Teamsite : 6.5 SP3 --> 6.7.2 --> 7.2.1
OpenDeploy: 6.1.0 --> 7.2.1
Livesite: 2.2.1 --> 3.0 --> 3.0 SP1 --> 7.2.1
After installing 6.7.2 we were unable to install CSF package of OD Admin 6.1.0 due to the error message "windows error 3 occurred while loading the Java vm".
On the server we have j2re1.4.2_11, jre1.5.0_03 and jre6 for which environment variable is set to "C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_11\bin" so that correct version of JVM will be considered.
We are not sure whether this is because we are not following right intermediate upgrade or not. Hence request your valuable inputs.
