We are upgrading MediaBin from 4.6.2 to 8.0.3 and facing below issues.
Can anyone help me please?
We would require your help for below issues.
1) Email functionality is working. I have checked in MBPSettings table and noticed that email enteries are not present. I guess, this could be the issue. If yes, can we get the SQL so that we can enter the data from backend.
2)We have integrated Metatagger with this latest version of MB .
Metatagger generated fields like keywords/Metatagger Classification/Metatagger Summary is not populating for PDF. Whereas MB is displaying above fields for doc,docx,ppt etc., with proper metadata . We have installed Adobe Reader in MediaBin server box too.
3) We could see only MBP.log in the log files folder. Is this the only one log file for Virage 8? also this log file is not updating anything after server startup success message (MBP initialized ok message).
4)Whether checkin/checkout option is not available in 8.0.3 web client?
5) We are unable to upload mediafiles mp3, mp4 ,wmv files into MB. Below is the error.
"error returned from Video Logger. Error starting vlog via Smart Encode"
Note: We have not installed Videologger since it may not included in our license.
I don't think videologger is mandatory to upload MediaFiles
5) We are using LDAP for authentication. And as per step in the installation document we are trying to populate the LDAP data to notification server. We wil get the error message once we invoke the below URL . But when we search using first name/last name it always returns zero results.
What is the use of this step? and where it is used? if its mandatory to perform this step can you please suggest where are wrong.
