opendeploy eventreporting log files

By default during installation, the OpenDeploy base server has eventReporting enabled (in odbase.xml) whereas the receiver has it turned off and I would like it to keep it that way.

I'm trying to rotate log files periodically and as part of it I'm thinking of deleting this rolled servername_eventReporting.log. But this file does not have a logRules to set up a maximum size, it's getting rolled over automatically after 1MB and it doesn't follow .log0001 format, it rolls over to .log.1 .log.2 etc., So, would I be okay if delete anything log.*?
