DD: inline generation of items

I don't have much experience with DataDeploy, but if I remember correctly it parses datacapture.cfg files to determine what tables and columns to create.

If I have a container that is the same in all of my templates (for instance title, description and keywords), and I put that XML in an inline call instead of coding it in every template, will DataDeploy pick up those fields?

Please don't suggest MetaTagger as a solution for this problem. I just need to know if DataDeploy supports inlines in DCTs.
