OD 7.3.2 new clean install -> no users

System

We are installing a clean test instance of teamsite and opendeploy prior to upgrading our primary server.
The install is on RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.9

We downloaded the most recent install files. The installs themselves went without issue. However Opendeploy is refusing to see any users.

We tried with initially with the stock iwaccess service and neither root nor the bootstrap user were available.
We then tried modifying the /Interwoven/CSF/AccessService/conf/1.2/iwovcsfconfig.xml
changing the line to a linux pam setup that works for us in 7.2.1, it now reads:


We have the appropriate pam files in place, and logs show the following:

/var/log/audit/audit.log is showing a successful return from pam for both root and the bootstrap user.

The iwaccess server log (/Interwoven/CSF/AccessService/log/iwauthen.log) is showing a successful return for both root and bootstrap user.

/Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/log/cms01vlt_odbase.log shows the following for all users (ip adress obfuscated):

any clues as to what may be wrong?
