Integrating Site Navigation in the Page creation process...

Our requirement is to present the user with the choice of pinning the livesite page to the existing site navigation during the page creation process. That is, when the user hits the create page action, we need to be able to present with the choice of selecting the navigation structure to which the page belongs to.

Are there any thoughts from other experts who might have done this before in Livesite? Thanks in advance for your inputs.
