Report Center - Another stellar job of ducumentation on Interwoven's part

Installed Report Center on a separate VM on Linux RHEL 5.3 for our 7.2.1 upgrade. Can't seem to get the OpenDeploy part configured. The documentation is useless. Forget the fact that the RC configuration is buried in the massive Authoring Components Installation Guide - why it doesn't have its own document is a mystery. For configuring OpenDeploy reports, it provides this gem of useless instructions:

Before generating any OpenDeploy reports, you must ensure that the reporting database gets populated with the generated OpenDeploy events, which can be queried to generate OpenDeploy related reports. Refer to the OpenDeploy documentation to configure the OpenDeploy configuration files.

That's it. WTF? Utterly useless.

Can't for the life of me figure out how to set up the Ad Hoc reporting.
