.Page getting save Error

System

Hi,
I have .page file on Sitepublisher which is using only templates. These templates have XSL based components associated. There are few instances which has occurred where I am updating two or more component and submitting it. Once submitted I am editing template it asks me to update/overwrite template with latest submitted component. If by any chance I update only few but NOT all component and save template and then I edit page and save it shows error message in alert box "An error occurred while saving the page. Please contact administrator for more details".
Kindly let me know why this behavior is happening.
Is there any NEED to update all component and cannot work properly if only few components are updated.
