Linux JDBC/DD install

OK, I know I am missing something simple, but I cannot figure it out.

OD 6.2 on Linux deploying to MySQL. I loaded the proper jar file.

DD wants a URL to the driver, not a path 'com.mysql.jdbc.Driver'

Typically you set the CLASSPATH, but this is DD in a workflow, so I cannot set the CLASSPATH in a shell and it does not appear to be set.

So, where am I going wrong ?
