Calendar-close

Hi,

I am using z_calendar.ipl to select the publish date on the dcr.If the user selects date from the calendar it will close automatically. But if the user open calendar and he is not selecting date from the calendar and just he istyping date. Later he will close the dcr but calendar still remain open. Is there any way to close the calendar with dcr close.
