Components containing components ?

OK, worked on a page with a set of tabs that hide/show sections with a div style="display:none" and JS to flip the switch. HTML works fine.

Putting this into SP is a little more problematic. Basically I can figure out how to build a page with a single section turning on/off. The problem is that the users want to be able to drag and drop components into this component.

From what I see my options are: make the tab component a DCR and include whatever I want, make the tab component a TinyMCE editor or make each tab a seperate page.

None of which are good options. If I have to, I will pick #3.

Am I missing some other approaches ?
